Nation Building

In its every activity, Vichar Sanstha aims to contribute towards Nation Building. But in particular, on the occasion of every Republic Day and Independence Day, the NGO organises a mass celebration to facilitate cultural integration and kindle the feeling of patriotism.

Our past celebrations include:- 

• In January 2020, the NGO organised a mass celebration for Republic Day in which 31,000 people formed the world’s longest human chain which was 17 kms long and displayed the tri-colours of the Indian national flag
• On the occasion of 74th Independence Day, 74 female change-makers simultaneously conducted celebrations by unfurling the national flag in 74 areas   
• Again in January 2021, 105 flags were unfurled by 105 women change-makers
• The NGO conducts several cultural events such as dance competitions, singing competitions, etc, where special emphasis is on including children from slum areas
