Livelihood

Vichar Sanstha aims to facilitate employment of job seekers with special emphasis on empowering women to earn their livelihood. For this, the NGO helps them develop necessary skills and then connects them with suitable employers or facilitates them in setting up their own business or profession. 

Our initiatives in the field of employment include:- 

• Free Hathkarga training centre equipped with 11 hathkargas where 300+ women have learnt to weave khadi cloth and subsequently gained employment.  
• Free stitching workshops from time to time
• ‘Gobar Diya Project’ under which 44 women made 40,000 earthen lamps and other items from cow dung and sold them for a profit of 75,000 rupees
• Financial help to help women set up small businesses
